A little about us: Rabbit's Moon Tea Arts has been practicing the art of gong fu tea for a little over the ten years. Between working passionately over those years in tea shops and tea houses throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and diligently taking every opportunity in serving and sharing tea with others to develop the art, the practice that has emerged from this diverse journey is multi-faceted.
It was four years ago, when Rabbit's Moon was born from an initial trip to China that sparked a deeper pursuit of the art of tea. Through applied oral accounts, direct observation and hands-on practice with tea farmers and masters spanning 8 tea regions across China, our development of the gong fu tea technique has deepened exponentially.
In watching gong fu tea culture in America grow by steeps and bounds just as fast over the last 2 years has inspired a greater calling to offer a means of guidance to beginning a tea practice for those interested in this path but feeling somewhat overwhelmed by all the details and accouterments. It is our intention here at Rabbit's Moon that sharing the practice of gong fu tea with others can be as simple and light hearted as it can been deeply meaningful and transformative to all involved.
May heaven be found on earth in every cup.
